Angus Norton

Chief Executive Officer

Angus Norton serves as Chief Executive Officer of Inteum Company, LLC, succeeding founder Robert Sloman. He leads the company’s strategy, growth, and commitment to the innovation community it has served for more than three decades.

Angus brings a career shaped by both global scale and hands-on partnership with growing software companies. He has held leadership roles at Sony, Microsoft, Amazon, and Cisco, and was part of the team that helped grow Xero from an early-stage startup into a global accounting platform used by millions. In recent years, he has worked closely with a portfolio of software companies to help them scale, sharpen their focus, and deliver greater value to their customers. At Inteum, he is focused on building on the company’s foundation of trusted customer relationships and continuing to invest in the products and partnerships that help research and technology find their way into the world.

Originally from Auckland, New Zealand, Angus has spent much of the past 25 years living and working in the United States.

Rob Sloman

Founder

Robert Sloman founded Inteum Company, LLC in 1992 and led it for more than three decades, building the company into the industry’s most sustained and innovative developer of management information systems for technology transfer.

Before founding Inteum, Rob served as President of the Washington Research Foundation from 1987 to 1992, where he guided the organization through the retirement of significant debt and positioned it as a leader in the field of technology transfer. In 1991, he served as Vice President of the Association of University Technology Managers (AUTM). Under Rob’s leadership, Inteum has delivered numerous industry firsts and established itself as a trusted partner to research institutions, universities, and innovation offices around the world.

Dave Waddell

Vice President, Inteum International Ltd

Dave is a veteran of the tech world with a 30-year track record of designing systems that actually work for people. Before leading Inteum International Ltd, he spent ten years immersed in the University of Edinburgh’s tech transfer department. In 2009, his entrepreneurial side took over, leading him to found Inprisys and create the bespoke analytics and integration tools our clients use every day. Today, Dave manages our UK operations while staying close to his roots in data migration and reporting.

Tim Hollobon

Vice President  & Chief Technology Officer

Tim joined the Inteum team in 2002. Tim has over 20 years programming and manufacturing process design experience. His knowledge and skill in scripting languages, Visual C++ and ATL/COM have been a great addition to Inteum’s software development team. Tim has been the guiding force in our transition from Inteum C/S to Inteum Web and is now spearheading the development of our next generation of the market leading solution, Minuet™.

Britt D’Andrea

Vice President, Business Development

Britt joined the Inteum team in July 2012 as an Account Manager for the West Coast, North America and Australasia regions. She previously worked for another local software company for nine years as a Product Research Analyst and subsequently one of their customers as a Systems Administrator. She has a strong background in troubleshooting, testing , software support and training.

As VP, Business Development, Britt works on expanding Inteum’s client base in the Americas and Oceania.

Amy Shim

Vice President, MTAShare

Amy joined the Inteum team in June 2021. As the Vice President of MTAShare, Amy manages Inteum’s newest platform to automate agreements processing.

Amy also supports Business Development for Inteum’s core product, Minuet. Prior to Inteum, she worked for a technology transfer services company matching industry partners with university technologies to commercialize.

Ruth Benson

Office Manager

Ruth joined Inteum in April 2004. Prior to Inteum, worked at the Washington Research Foundation with Rob Sloman, PathoGenesis, before they were bought by Chiron, and the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle.

She uses her 30+ years of office, event management, and stage management experience with organizational skills to keep everyone on track.

Karen Boghossian

Vice President, Professional Services

Karen Boghossian, Vice President of Professional Services, joined Inteum Company in 2017 as an account manager serving clients in the Eastern US Region.

Prior to joining Inteum Company, Karen, a former client, spent 11 years in academic technology transfer. She’s also previously provided technology transfer operations consulting services to a variety of institutions.

Stephen edwards

Analytics Product manager

Stephen is a seasoned full-stack software developer and technical analyst with a proven track record in the financial services industry. He leads the Minuet Analytics product and team, overseeing development and providing technical support to customers globally.

With nearly a decade of experience at Inteum, combined with expertise from previous roles at a science and technology consultancy and a Master’s Degree in Bioinformatics from the University of Edinburgh, he is well-equipped to manage big data challenges in Technology Transfer and enhance our software solutions.

IT Manager

Matt brings over 30 years of experience in IT management within the manufacturing sector, overseeing ERP and database systems, supporting user applications, and implementing IT infrastructure. Matt manages all IT operations to support the needs of our rapidly expanding company. His role involves providing leadership and strategic direction, developing IT policies, enhancing security measures, and deploying critical systems. He strives to foster a collaborative environment with Inteum’s talented staff to identify and implement cost-effective technology solutions that emphasize productivity, efficiency, and cost savings.

Outside of work, Matt enjoys spending quality time with his wife, Cyndi, and their three adult children and their spouses, and six grandchildren. His hobbies include photography, woodworking, and remodeling their home.
