Rob Sloman, Founder & CEO of Inteum
In 1992, Rob founded Inteum Company which is the pioneer in offering technology transfer management software to the technology transfer community. Inteum Company, LLC remains the leader in the field of technology transfer management software.

In 2001, Rob and his team executed a comprehensive technology platform change and product name change, bringing Inteum C/S® to market, replacing the widely distributed D.E.A.L.S. Db.™

Prior to founding Inteum, Rob was President of Washington Research Foundation, a technology transfer non-profit in Seattle, Washington from 1987 to 1992.

Nita Milbourn, Director, Training and Customer Support
Nita joined the Inteum team in November 1998 and directs the on site and regional training services. Prior to joining Inteum she worked at the University of South Florida Research Foundation, Division of Patents and Licensing for 6 years.  Her extensive background in technology transfer enables her to deliver exceptional end user training supported with well developed curricula, tailored to each sites level of expertise.

Hope Quan, Account Manager
Hope joined the Inteum team in May 2008 with four years experience in technology transfer. Most recently she worked for UW TechTransfer in Business Development and Communications. While working at UWTT, she helped build the LaunchPad Program whose primary goal is to catalyze ventures based on university innovations. Hope earned a B.A. in Psychology and a M.A. in Directing both from the University of Kentucky. Also she holds a C.E.L.T.A. from Cambridge University. 

Steve joined the Inteum team in January 2010.  He will be leading the launch of the Inteum web version.  Most recently he served as public information officer for the Marguerite Casey Foundation where he fostered communications among grantees, conducted media outreach, and wrote a variety of online content.  He brings 15+ years of experience as a communications professional to Inteum Company.  He holds a Masters degree in English from Arizona State University.

 

Justin Adair, Report Writer
Justin joined the Inteum team in November 2005 with over 8 years of Crystal Reports experience. Justin began his career in Relational Database Reporting by providing Technical Support for the original creator of Crystal Reports, Seagate Software. Before joining Inteum he developed, maintained and supported hundreds of reports for companies in the Pacific Northwest and around the world.

Tim Hollobon, Lead Developer
Tim joined the Inteum team in 2002. Tim has over 20 years programming and manufacturing process design experience. His knowledge and skill in scripting languages, Visual C++ and ATL/COM have been a great addition to Inteum's software development team.

Ken Zhu, Software Developer
Ken joined the Inteum team in October 2007. Ken has a Masters Degree in Computer Systems and over 8 years of software development experience in various companies including Microsoft and GE Healthcare. His knowledge and skill in .NET programming is a great addition to Inteum's software development team.

Ben Hodson, Software Developer
Ben joined the Inteum team in 2008. Ben Hodson has founded several companies over the last 8 years.  He was co-founder and CTO of Venafi, Inc. (2000 -2005) a security software company focused on encryption technologies for enterprises including 8 fortune 100 customers.  More recently, he co-founded Auction Trust Network, Inc. (2006) a software plug-in for eBay and other ecommerce sites to facilitate trust and social commerce.  He now is the founder of Repeatsys, a software consulting and hosting company that specializes in web-based applications.  Ben holds degrees in both Business Administration and Computer Science from the University of Washington. 

Lena Swan, Technical Support Manager
Lena joined the Inteum team in September 2006. Lena brings to the Inteum team over 18 years of experience in the IT industry. She has experience in many aspects of the field including application development, quality assurance, network administration, and customer support just to name a few. Her excellent troubleshooting abilities and system knowledge help her provide our customers with superior technical support. 

Ruth joined the Inteum Team in April 2004.  Prior to coming on board with Inteum Ruth worked at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, PathoGenesis in Seattle before they were bought by Chiron and the Washington Research Foundation.  She uses her 20+ years of office, event management, and stage management experience with organization skills to keep everyone on track.

 

David is an information systems professional with over 17 years experience in the design, development and implementation of business information systems.  He spent 8 years with University of Edinburgh, UK, responsible for research, IP management and technology transfer systems.  In August 2009 he founded Inprisys Ltd. to develop and market the complementary Analytics for Inteum C/S business intelligence toolset and now extends Inteum C/S services and support to licensee sites around Europe and beyond.
